With the Pegasus World Cup scheduled for January 25th just a little over a month away...how are 96%

of horses to quit lasix cold turkey in time for this race? What happens if they quit lasix cold turkey and they ARE bleeders? Will the Pegasus be a bloody mess horror show? Will this move empower those who are proponents of Lasix or will it cast a dark shadow on racing forever as gorry, bloody images are shared at record pace on Twitter and Facebook with #EndHorseRacing or #BanHorseRacing? Will Horse Racing Wrongs e-mail their 200,000 plus fans with these bloody nightmarish images, or will horse racing put on a clean cut show -one kids won't run away from screaming after watching?

Yesterday, I thought these changes were the best thing that could happen to horse racing and was grateful to see drastic measures taken. The measures taken make perfect sense. What doesn't make sense is the TIMING, changing the purse of the race, less $6 million just shy of a month away. What doesn't makes sense is the TIMING not giving non needle trainers enough time to prepare, not giving honest trainers who currently use Lasix time to safely and with vet supervision detox them off lasix.

IS IT TOO MUCH TOO FAST BY DESIGN? NOT changing the rules and enforcing them will surely end horse racing, but racing horses in a very hostile atmosphere and having them start bleeding all over the racetrack, may end things even faster as overnight the pics go viral...XOXO
