At $45,000 per "stand" or stud service, that is only $9 million in earnings, not including the amount spent to feed and care for him (room and board) and travel to and from stud duties. That is a lot to ask of an injured horse, even so it is still $13 million shy of the $22 million Spendthrift Farms paid for him before he scratched from 2019 Kentucky Derby. XOXO
