Evidently the cops will break your kneecaps for breaking curfew...the mob only does that if you owe them thousands of dollars or some other nefarious offense.
The difference is the mobsters don't usually roll this deep...and if you fight back against a mobster who is using a billy club to break your knees you will not be zip tied and arrested and charged with resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer - especially if it is caught on video-your attorney would please self defense.
