Fin's Dad is "Awesome Again" - winner of $4.3 million! Per the owner of "Silver Fin's" mother and Half Brother - which are so cute, same as "Silver Fin"!
How does a horse like that once trained by Steve Asmussen end up in a kill pen in the first place? Here was the beginning of "Silver Fin's" rescue story as told by Randi Collier of Soul Horse TX, this was how I first heard of "Silver Fin" and the plight of injured race horses, and race horses ending up in kill pens.
