When I saw that legendary horse Somerset Jackson once raced at Canterbury Downs was foudn in a kill pen I thought his family would be mortified to know their deceased father once President of the MN HBPA John Jack Walsh's horse "Somerset Jackson" was found in a kill pen. The daughter of Mr. Walsh lied to me and said it was safe, I knew it was not safe from the kill pen. Despite the family's claims they saved it, it was in fact saved by a 17 year old with a go fund me from a kill pen. Somerset Jackson had wounds all over when he was in quarantine for MONTHS after being in the killpen before he could go to a very loving horse HERO!
