It was the way The Queen of Sheba struck Adonijah, King Solomon's brother, with a horse whip

bloodying Adonijah's face that caught my attention. It seemed to be the perfect example of why horse racing must ban the whips. In search of the video I found the various interpretations of the story of the meeting of the Wealthy, Powerful and Strikingly Beautiful Queen of Sheba (which some say is modern day Ethiopia) and Solomon (The King of Isreal) from the Bible. It is her power that men's fragile ego's can not comprehend and therefore she is portrayed in some interpretations as evil...

Regardless what religion you follow it is interesting to read the different viewpoints, from the Muslim, Jewish and Christian religious texts, depicting the same event, the same meeting of the two wealthy Royals. What is it about most men, that they have such a hard time understanding a woman can be simultaneously beautiful, powerful and righteous-with blessings and guidance of the hand of GOD? XOXO

The Whip scene starts at 4:40 - let any man who may defend whipping his horse, be allowed to be whipped at least this hard, by a beautiful woman like the Queen of Sheba, full of strength lest he changes his mind...XOXO
