I have never been to Arlington Park but heard it was a beautiful race track as opposed to Pimlico in Baltimore which is a #Shithole still open though and will host the Preakness.
Ironic the nice beautiful race track closed and the shit hole is still open and in need of much repair. Maybe they can just relocate Arlington to Pimlico and tear Pimlico down. #WhoCares
The point I was going to make is that Arlington Park in Illinois already closed. Passing the HRIA was TOO LITTLE TOO LATE for Arlington Park. All of the legislation is too little too late, even passage of the Safe Act. The cat's out of the bag and horse racing is so far back in this fight, it's like they haven't even left the starting gate...as always I stand with the horses.
For the record, I am against big government even when it comes to this. The FBI investigated Santa Anita and the only comparison i can think of is the three blind mice. After 49 deaths on the track last year-they didn't see a single thing! Yet Bob Bafferts tested dirty, the Maximum Security team with Servis tested dirty, countless horses have died on the racetrack since, and if the government couldn't find anything NOT A THING not even Maggi Moss's groom that she alleges drugged her horse that is on google working there. I googled it, the FBI was onsite and didn't notice the man that the Paulick Report says there was a MANHUNT for was there at the track working as a groom for another trainer. They couldn't even investigate that! JUST UNREAL THE COVER UP! EVERYONE SAW IT TOO. What do you think that does for the publics trust in the F.B.I.? Most likely erodes it I would venture to guess.
SO I have ZERO faith the government can handle this, you have to make an appointment now to get the car license tabs for your car when it renews and they don't even answer the phone. When you mail it in, in comes back 8 weeks later! For a stupid sticker-the same stupid sticker they sell to everyone. How can they be 8 weeks behind when all they do is take the money and mail you back the sticker? SO I have ZERO faith in our government to handles anything if Trump wins, If Biden wins, if the HRIA passes if it doesn't. I am indifferent.
If they REALLY wanted to solve the problem the heads of the racetracks would all meet in 30 minutes online and sign off on an agreed set of rules.

And then start there. Just agree to that and meet every three days until you can get it right. Then implement in yesterday. Then have ANOTHER meeting and come up with a universal ban when anyone breaks the rules. For example a Jockey at Canterbury Park was caught with a loaded gun and a buzzer/machine used to shock horses. He was suspended for 5 years from Canterbury Park but what is to stop him from racing at Santa Anita or Gulfstream. The bans and suspensions need to be universal across the board if you have to sit out 3 months or 3 years it is at EVERY TRACK.
Then every track should have two members they nominate to become part of the "Council" and the "Council" takes over from there and hashes out the rest of the details and meets when necessary.
For example when everyone is arguing over a call at a certain track, the end result is decided by the Council. Both sides get ten minutes to plead their case, play their videos etc. Then the council votes online and majority wins. This shit is NOT rocket science and the government will make it into a mess they always do. But good luck with all that, it can't be worse then the shit show that you have going on now.
