This is where EVERY horse rescue out there fails or puts in little effort...or if they do, Facebook, Twitter, Craigslist, any other outlet you can think of to reach prospective good homes out there, will work overtime to ghost or ban their accounts. Some simply don't care if they find good homes...some do, and get blocked and banned from social media when they try. What should be used as a catalyst change and what could if done well (and it would be if Facebook and Twitter were not actively working against Animal Right Activists and rescues), we could find homes for all of these horses. If a rescue genuinely wanted to find them homes, good people and homes are out there. There are ways to restructure communities to create environments where people and horses co-exist, and can help re-home these horses in co-ops or new housing communities, many farmers no longer exist so the days of sending a horse or a dog out to the farm, are not a thing anymore. However when Twitter and Facebook steals your accounts, how can you find the horses you rescued homes? It becomes impossible, they are making saving lives impossible. I am not defending any horse rescue in particular, I am speaking of my experience losing my voice. XOXO
