Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle paid all of their adoption fees!!! He saved 109 souls! This just goes to prove my point that these dogs are wanted, and so are the many horses killed as I have stated over and over they should never be killed-for lack of funds. Our local humane society is charging over $465 for mixed breed pets, when puppies here (pure breds) can be found for much less then that, with ads up at grocery stores. These fees are ensuring that many of them are killed at the shelter, which is so completely unfair to both the dogs and the families that would give them a home if they could afford to. $465 may not be a lot to some people but add in the $5000 dog deposit every apartment charges and you are already $1,000 into a dog that is a huge expense and that has not even covered food or vet bills. Many more animals would have a chance if more people cared and had a heart like Derrick Nnadi. This is what makes a great leader - lead by example! Thank you Derrick Nnadi for making a difference in your community, thank you to all the people who gave these dogs forever homes - hopefully this is a Super Bowl tradition that grows wings...this moved me to tears. Thank you to Rachel Ray who offered a free year of dog food to these dogs! What a beautiful gesture for a beautiful and talented woman! Thank you GOD - please motivate others to make a difference in their community and to find inspiration in these wonderful acts of love and kindness. #SuperBowlHero #OneLove Love And Prayer XOXO #BeTheChange
