After 12 1/2 inches of rain Gulfstream Park (home of the Pegasus) with the dome...is now flooded...

What are the odds of that happening? Either way, during Hurricane Harvey when we saw horses up to their shoulders in water or in Gulfstream Park's barn's case up to their cannon bone, we immediately rescued them and brought them to higher ground, we even raised money for their care which went to Soul Horse TX and has never been accounted for. Transparency matters.

That being the case, those were complete strangers horses. If MY HORSE was stranded in a flooded barn, I would be on the phone with someone who could get a trailer out there, a private company, and pick up all my horses and move them IMMEDIATELY to higher ground. I would not risk them getting sick from the water, or getting rain rot. I most definitely would pray, and I think it is great to ask other people to pray, but GOD helps those who meet him halfway and that requires rolling up your sleeve and getting YOUR OWN HORSE OUT OF THE WATER ASAP! Not rocket science here. HELP YOUR HORSES!

Would you leave your dog in flooded water all night long? Not only are they not showing proper care of the horse by leaving it there, in alligator infested waters, they are not even protecting their financial investment. Florida waters are very dirty, full of toxic algae that kills the sea life, corexit and oil from BP, and Flesh eating virus bacteria. Any knicks or scratches or cuts on any of the horses makes them very vulnerable to the flesh eating bacteria.

Florida is also a very hot and humid state and that water is toxic to breathe as it evaporates. Just another example of how #IAmHorseRacing treats it's horses. Is this like family to you? Would you leave your NANA in knee deep toxic water overnight? XOXO
